Program Itinerary of 7 Days from Tangier Desert Tour:

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

We will meet you and welcome you at Tangier for starting our 7 Days Imperial Cities Tour from Tangier, departing through the Rif to the blue pearl of Chefchaouen, making a stop in the city of Tetouan, called currently the Spanish city. 

Afternoon arrival in the blue city of Chefchaouen, where we will be guided for a complete visit to this marvelous blue city. Walkthrough the narrow streets and old houses painted in blue and white blue also contemplate the beautiful panoramic views. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in the blue city of Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

In the morning after breakfast, we will depart and travel toward the Rif Mountains, our first stop is visiting the Roman ruins in Volubilis; an important city with many well-preserved artifacts. Traveling through fertile farmland and villages on our way to the ruins of Rome.

After lunch in a local restaurant, we will drive to Meknes city built by Moulay Ismail surrounded by ramparts, which is a former imperial city in Morocco, including a visit to Meknes’s monument; Moulay Ismail mausoleum, the green gate of Bab Mansour, and Lahdim Square. Day 3: Fes Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, The Day trip dedicates to visiting the city of Fez, the oldest imperial city founded in the 8 century by Moulay Idriss II.

The Fes guided tour will start the trip by visiting the oldest living Medina in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and exploring the Medina’s narrow streets lined with local shops and stalls. With your local guide, you will discover the narrow streets and see the magic and charm of the old Medina wherever you look, the magic derives from many historical monuments, including Attarine Madrasas, Nejjarine Fountain, Al-Qarawiyyine University, the oldest university in the world founded in 859, Bou Inania Madrasa and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. 

Before you return to your accommodation, you will visit ‘Fes Al-Jdid’, the new city of Fes. After lunch in a local restaurant, before you return to your accommodation, you will experience the panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes before having a brief visit to the new part of the city “Fes Al Jadid” and experiencing the charm of this imperial city of Fes.  Then check in at the Riad in the evening. 

Day 4: Fes - Rabat

We will leave Fes behind and venture north to another imperial city (present-day capital)   Rabat, which stands by Hassan Tower and more. Explore the medieval fortification of the Chellah and wander the Roman and Islamic ruins. Enter through the big door of the military camp in the past; Kasbah of Oudaya into Rabat’s old city center. 

From there, visit the 20th-century Andalusian Gardens and enjoy the serene space away from the crowds. Discover the Hassan Tower, a minaret of an incomplete mosque and Mausoleum of Mohamed V: a 12th-century project that was abandoned, leaving only the minaret and some 200 columns. Overnight at a Hotel in the capital city, Rabat.

Day 5: Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech

We will start the journey in the morning and drive to see the Grand Casablanca city; a modern, commercial capital of Morocco. Walk over the area and see one that has a great minaret of 210m in all Africa “Hassan II Mosque” of Casablanca, It sits on an outcrop over the Atlantic and has a 690 feet (210 m) minaret.

The tallest structure in the kingdom of Morocco and the tallest minaret in the world! It is estimated the courtyard can hold 80,000 worshipers, with room for 25,000 inside. 

One of the few mosques in the country non-Muslims can enter and visit it. Upon arriving in Marrakesh, settle into your accommodation and have a free evening in the red city.

Day 6: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

A full-day journey to Marrakesh; the city was one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Get ready to discover the vibrant city of Marrakech, of course with your local guide, Morocco’s touristic capital. Visit many several impressive places, including Menara Garden, Bahia Palace, and Badi and Saadian mausoleums. Enjoy Moroccan traditional lunch at a local and finest restaurant to resume your full-day trip.

Day 7: Marrakech to the Airport
