1 Night Camel Trekking Merzouga Desert Program Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival to Merzouga - Camel Trek - Night at a desert camp

On the first day of our 1 night camel trekking Merzouga desert. Once you arrive at our hotel in Merzouga, you leave your car at free safe parking if you have it and pack the necessary bags for the evenings in the desert. Our one-night Morocco camel trek in the Merzouga desert will start in the late afternoon around 2 hours before sunset and take you right into the heart of the Sahara desert of Morocco. The Merzouga camel trek takes about an hour and a half so you will have the chance to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets Morocco has to offer.

Try sandboarding if this is an activity you are interested in, during the trek you will take a break in the middle of the Sahara to take photos and admire the landscapes until the sun goes down. Then we’ll continue to the Berber camp where you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea and relax until dinner time. After dinner, there will be some traditional Berber drumming music around the fire, enjoy the starry sky, and sleep at a nomadic Sahara camp (dinner and breakfast are included).

Day 2: Sunrise Experience - Camel Trek - Back to Merzouga village

On the last day of your 1-night camel trek Merzouga desert, it is worth getting up early morning to watch the sunrise and take some beautiful pictures of the sunrise after these lovely moments you will have a delicious breakfast and take a shower at the camp after that you will camel trek again or on a 4×4 back to the originally started point if you have your private car or we can transfer you directly from the camp to the village, and find a public or a private transport to your next destination.
